main most frequently used verse . this verse takes place during mostly canon events but can be post canon as well . masaomi is still leading his gang , the yellow scarves . he lives with his girlfriend , saki mikajima primarily but can be season one based as well before anyone really knows of his status as shogun .

masaomi kida suddenly finds himself in the metaverse . after being seperated from his elder brother , ryuji ; masaomi eventually makes it his mission to join & help the phantom thieves in their mission to stop & expose kamoshida .

* age can vary from thirteen to eighteen depending on the circumstance. usually takes place in the city of ikebukuro within the walls of raira but is not strictly exclusive to it .
self explainatory verse . masaomi is simply a humble student attending either raira academy or anywhere abroad through a student exchange program . he lives in an apartment with his girlfriend while working as a bagger at the local grocery store.. he is free to live a normal lifestyle without having to worry over something like a gang .

masaomi has issues with his home life , his parents drink & fight . sometimes he's exposed to neglect & beatings. he eventually comes to form a color gang known as the yellow scarves which leads him to meet his future girlfriend , saki mikajima as well as the information broker , izaya orihara . the boy ends up becoming quite attached to him .
